Bakoven

Bakoven is a small suburb of Cape Town, sandwiched between the Twelve Apostles mountain range and the Atlantic Ocean, located adjacent and south of Camps Bay as you leave for Llandudno and Hout Bay.

Bakoven Beach

Bakoven hosts the smallest beach in South Africa, situated in Bakoven Bay. If you're wanting more action on the beach, go to Camps Bay or Clifton Beach. Bakoven beach usually has thick beds of seaweed and kelp clogging the water - but is ideal for soaking up the sun.

Properties

Above Victoria Road, most accommodation offers stunning views over the Atlantic Ocean the Bakoven Bay and the Twelve Apostles mountains directly behind. The homes below Victoria Rd are mainly seaside bungalows and that area retains an almost village like feel.

Shopping & eating

Trendy restaurants, ATM machines, grocery store and sidewalk vendors can be found at Camps Bay.
