Green Point is a suburb of Cape Town on its Atlantic Seaboard; sandwiched between Seapoint, Signal Hill, the Waterfront and the Atlantic ocean. Over the last couple of decades Green Point has gone through a process of gentrification, however you'll still find prostitutes lined up on Somerset Road alongside the chic delis and slick décor stores. There are also a number of of good galleries in the area to stock-up on contemporary art.
With a plethora of gay-friendly restaurants, coffee shops, clubs (including the iconic Bronx action bar), bars and accommodation; gay entertainment and nightlife in Cape Town is most concentrated in Green Point.
