Cape Town Waterfront Ice Lounge

The Ice Lounge was set up in October 2006 in a 200m² freezer at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Everything is made of ice - the chairs, pillars, bar counter and even your glasses you drink out of. The temperature in the Ice Lounge varies from -10°C to -5°C.

For kids there is a whale-shaped slide to play on while parents enjoy the art gallery. After 6pm the Ice Lounge is for over 18s.

The Ice Lounge will be open until February 2006.
